We recently returned from our latest journey and one stop we made was at the Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles.
I flew in the day before the show started and had some time to take some pics with my little Pentax K10d and a couple prime lenses. I used my 35mm 1:2.8 Macro and 50mm 1:1.4 lenses, but mostly the 35mm.

This has always been one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. In my 20s, I worked a block away and we used to go there on Friday nights for Happy Hour (yummy food and drinks) by the pool, admiring both the architecture and the German tourists in speedos who would jump into the pool in February. My husband and I spent our wedding night here (thought the rooms, 12 years ago, didn't quite live up to the promise made by the lobby and public areas...)Thanks so much for posting your pix!
