It's been a very exciting time for the Papaya design team, we recently created a milestone of 120+ new products. & More treasures are always in the works!
This is my little Pink office, at Papaya where I like to surround myself with things that keep my creative juices flowing. Original artwork, artistic cards, papaya giclees, gifts from friends, and beautiful things collected during my travels like the yummy pink asian inspired wrap on my wall (above). (Although from the photo below it looks like lately I've been more or less surrounded by boxes of comforting tea, cough drops, and tissues!)
One of my favorite treasured handmades living in my office at the moment is an upcycled leather & hand felted bag that my sister who's a fine artist and bag designer (urban gypsy) made. She's painting with felt, I love the creative cross-over and I can never get enough of the mix of textiles.

Hi Aleta, The embroidered curtains come from Anthropologie.
The papaya handy crew built the desk from a drawing I made for them, they projected it onto the wood and traced, then jigsawed! It's amazing, and most definitely my favorite thing too.

I collect things and put them up on my walls around me, and I always make some tasty sweet tea before diving into new projects! Some soothing music on top of that and yay!
I love your office, it's amazing, just that desk is awesome! And the color is one of my favorites! <3

My studio is pink too! So I'm just adoring yours. What else do I use to keep inspired? I've got idea boards with vintage cards, mag clippings, and photos. I've got shelves with my fave vintage items in collections by color. And my treasured inspiration items are my vintage Gook Housekeeping mags from the 1950's!
