Perhaps the best way to boost one's happiness in this depressing economic environment is to recognize that joy not an individual experience, but a property of groups of people.

We take a minute to know someone, one hour to like someone, and one day to love someone, but the whole life to forget someone.

The worst bankrupt in the world is the man who has lost enthusiasm. Let him lose everything but enthusiasm and he will come through again to success

The Hmong textiles are a site to behold. What many people dont know is up until 30 or so years ago they had no written language. Instead the chronicled their history and culture in the textiles they produced. The blankets produced act as large story books depicting in pictures the history and culture of these extremely talented artisans.

Wow, I love the bag. But then again I love all your things.x

The Hmong are indeed well known for the beauty and richness of the embroidery and textiles! It is nice to see it on your blog, which has some very good links to artists etc. btw :)
Thanks for sharing!
