This is my art crush of the week: Sophie Blackall Australian born and now living in Brooklyn, I think she is fantastic. Check out her blog and etsy shop and you'll see why it was hard to pick only these images to post....so much fun, such great eye candy! Calligrapher, book and magazine illustrator, storyteller...I'm so happy to have discovered her.
The pieces here are from a series she did called Missed Connections, a collection that is on tour and being published as a book in September.
I just know I would like someone who paints a couple in a bear suit at a cocktail party. What else would you wear?
