I recently discovered Australian stylist, artist and writer Pia Jane Bijerk. She is the author of both Amsterdam by Hand and Paris by Hand, two fantastic design books for sourcing while traveling or for the armchair wanderer looking for some coffee table book inspiration. Her photography is so rich, filled with gently used art supplies, lush greenery and petals, pieces of ephemera and quirky antiques. She has a wonderful eye for incorporating the daily ordinary wares--a chair, a plate or even a stack of books--into the dreamy and theatrical.
