Russian Fairy Tales: Illustrations by Raquel Aparicio

 This Russian fairy tale series by 24 year old illustrator Raquel Aparicio caught my eye recently.

Farewell Cy Twombly

Yesterday renowned American artist, Cy Twombly,  passed away at age 83. I will never forget looking up in the lobby at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and staring in awe at the largest floor to ceiling installation of exquisite scribbling I have ever seen. Breathtaking.

Flow Magazine Inspires Creativity

Awhile back I had become crazily smitten with Flow, an inspiring Dutch magazine that focuses on creativity. (They once featured PAPAYA! design by adding a tear out in one of their issues of our paper wrap.) So when I noticed it in a bookstore in Amsterdam while I was traveling recently I completely jumped on it! 

This video shows you why it's just so jam packed with goodness! (Look closely 4:51 and you may notice some familiar PAPAYA! artwork on their computer screen.)
