I had this entire post I wanted to write months ago about telling ourselves no, just like we tell our kids no. If I wouldn't let Kyle have three helpings of dessert, why let myself? I know what's best for him but I apparently don't know what's best for me? Crazy talk! I do know! Sometimes he does get chocolate milk for breakfast and sometimes so should I, but not for every breakfast, no sir, because that's kind of crazy irresponsible. (And expensive, I'd think.)

Knowing ourselves and remembering who we are continues for all our lives. We transform ourselves but we don’t end. What we start continues in the life of those who follow us, in our people. As carriers of the heritage of “Western white man,” it is our responsibility to restore balance with our indigenous brothers and sisters of the world, after so many years of colonization, death, and oppression. The only way to heal ourselves is as equals in the circle of indigenous peoples of the world, recognizing our own roots and indigenous identity and facing the shadows of our own forebears. When we can do this, we are opening the way for a new world and a new time. May the readings of this work serve as an inspiration for the reader to ask, “Who am I? Who my people? Who are my ancestors?” … and as a motivation to remember the answers.

After almost fifteen years I am going back to the Tetons. I am looking forward to seeing this magnificent mountain range, long hikes, the pristine air and spending time with my husband.

It's so nice to have you do all of the research for us. It makes our decision making so much easier!! Thanks.

So sad not to be going anywhere, would love this gift. If i was to go anywhere it would be a holiday to visit the Papaya shop though! I'm so jealous that there isn't one in the u.k. I have a few bits and pieces from Papaya, and get complemented on my diary where ever I go. - I was very exited to see papaya on 'The big bang theory' the other day! That was so cool!

I live west of PDX in a lovely little town-Forest Grove, I'll be taking a road trip long overdue back to N. California to visit relatives. Can't wait to see your new store and explore Ashland.

I'll be heading to Prospect Park in Brooklyn to enjoy the hot city summer.

Every summer the travel bug bites me hard, but this summer we'll be staying close to our beautiful home on the beach in South Carolina, where we just moved, and then off to the mountains of Asheville in North Carolina for a few weeks in August! That pouch would be perfect for my summer time plans!

...i'm off to my summer job at a remote fish camp on the banks of the ayakulik river on the southern end of kodiak island...time for some bonding with the bears!

I don't have anywhere to go right now, but my dreams are (hopefully) getting ready to help me travel to the places I need to be to make me happy.

Just talking with my friend Jen about a road trip from SoCal to SanFran to Ashland - so we can see the new store and shop it up!!

Oooh...lovely photo! If I could go anywhere, I would say the Pacific Northwest. I've never been, and so many people have told me that I would love it there. Ideally, in a convertible...top down, driving up the coast. Yeah!

Well... it maybe sounds crazy but i'd like to fly to neverland and stay there for a while :) Be a child again and having foodfights with peter and the lost boys and maybe one or another fight with Captain Hook.

I won't be able to get away for a while, but I'd surely be able to use the above travel pouch to sit under a large maple tree on the green lawn and relax on my day off. Perhaps, I can use the journal to plan my Fall getaway :)

I think I would take this travel bag on a photo safari around my town, looking for nooks and crannies I have yet to find.

I'm planning lots of adventures with my three year old. Maybe a hike in the woods?

I'v been dreaming of Marrakesh all morning, but I could just as easily be mesmerized by the blue waters of Lake Louise in Banff National Park!

The next trip for me is to Atlanta for the gift show.. looking forward to seeing the great new products in person.

I just got home from 2 weeks in Kauai, but if I win this, I'll be sure to plan another trip!!! Good luck to all!

This would be perfect for traveling! I hope I win!

I'm taking 3 of my girlfriends to spend the weekend in the Sierra National Forest. I'm just wrapping up a 2 year project where I along with my uncle, built 2 tiny cottages from mostly recycled materials, on a 6 acre plot of pure heaven. I have a Papaya tote, that I got at a trade show many years ago, I think it was before you even sold them. Anyway, it's been a great transporter of food, camera, cell phone and mosquito spray but it's a little tired and could stand to be replaced.

I'm going to San Francisco and New York City, and I'm extremely excited!

back to my home in the berkshire mountains is where i would go, and lay in the grass by the river at my grandmother's childhood home like i used to do when i was little.♥

Des Moines, IA ... to see our besties!!! Large tote carry-on!!! Woo-hoo!

Road trip to the NC mountains in a few weeks. Highlight of the trip is an awesome little shop that carries Papaya goodies!

Midwest bound... very soon, I'll be at the beach with family and picking blueberries in Michigan. Later in the summer, attending a wedding at the Jewel Box in Forest Park, St. Louis - gorgeous!
ps:: lovin' the hula hoops - so very me!

I'll be traveling by car to my office just one block away because my bottom is very weighed down these days with cupcakes, experimental Popsicles, loaves of bread arriving daily like buses to my lips, and scoops of ice-cream.

I am traveling a lot this summer. This would be ideal! Pretty and practical! Thanks for the chance!

Would love to take it with me to Chautauqua, NY, where I am teaching a class on prayer journaling. All your products are Divine!

Love it! Going to visit the in-laws & would love to have this beauty to make my time easier!

Where would i take the travel kit? Anywhere it wants to go!

I would go the beach! Take my chair, your bag filled with a wonderful lunch and my perfect pen. I would sit and write my thoughts for the day in your beautiful journal then when I was through, I go home and paint in your journal the spectacular images I saw while sitting at the beach! Doesn't that sound like a most perfect day! =)

Carmel Valley, CA is the destination-we are playing summer camp with my nieces, nephews and granddaughter!

I will be taking it to a beach house in Galveston Texas...love the tote.

I *might* be coming to the US in September for a conference but if not, I think I'll just take a holiday JUST so I can take these beauties with me!! xx

I would like to be on that lovely blanket in your post. But, I'll be at home working on homework, dreaming about when I can actually take a vacation.

FUN!!! I'm going to Florida to a gorgeous resort for my 28th birthday and would love to bring these goodies with me!

We are off to a little coastal town called Hawks Nest, on the North Coast of NSW, Australia (we are in Sydney so not a big journey). What we love about it is its underdeveloped wonders, no high rises, kids can ride their bikes in the street, sharks feed off tuna on the shore line and we get to eat fresh prawns with crusty baguette bread!

What an amazing giveaway, PAPAYA! Thank you for the chance to win. This summer I am taking my husband & my son up to Alaska where I was raised. I plan on surprising my guy with a romantic trip to "Halibut Cove". It is a tiny artisan village across the inlet from Homer. I hope to leave our son with Mimi & Grandpa!! This would be a perfect package to win to send postcards, tag my luggage and fill my journal with dreamy thoughts of my lazy seaside home xoxoxo, Kate

I travel at least twice a month for work. Never know where. It would be like Where's Waldo... I could sent postcard breadcrumbs so my family knows where I am!

San Diego. Our summer destination this year!

I would visit my cousin and her daughter on Cape Cod, where we lost our grandparents years ago.

LOve it and would love to have it!

I'm going to the hospital in August to deliver my first baby! This would be a great addition to my hospital bag!

This would be perfect for my trip to Montreal in a couple of weeks! Then Napa Valley in the fall Xo

I would be heading for a forest to enjoy the peace. But as long as I was with my partner the travel would be perfect.

I would love to go any place by the sea...

I am going to a cabin in the mountains of Colorado. The alpine wildfowers are just now starting to bloom and I feel so lucky to be back in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

I would take it to Hocking Hills! There's so much natural beauty there. The rocks are interesting and have been shaped by waterfalls and rivers. Flowers are plenty. It's just a beautiful serene place.

perfect for this surfer-girl right here!

Going to the same beach house i've been every year since I was three for a week with the family and this time I'm bringing a boyfriend. :)

I'm going to camp! This is the perfect set up for a week of bonfires, starlight, crickets and beaches.

Arizona is next on our trip list

I'm going 2 Tuscany(Italy) for a romantic holiday with my hubby. Its really hot out there so this gorgeous(!) purse will make my trip absolutely perfect. Have a nice (holi)day!

I am going to the beach and this would be the perfect accessory for my trip and for everyday life. I love all your products. I wish you would bring back the grab bags that you had a few years ago. I loved using the small items in my art. Hint Hint. LOL!! Please let me be the winner.

I am going inward, since we can't go outward...finding time to discover who I am now, in this place in time, and who I want to become next.

I WANT this so bad!!! It would be so gorgeously useful for all the kid activities we are doing this summer. But I wouldn't keep it, I would send it to my sister Libby! She IS this bag! She makes her own hoops, teaches hoop workshops & does performance hooping with fire & LED! She NEEDs this delicious gift set!

I am driving east on an adventure to Boston for grad school. This is after I drive from Iowa to southern Colorado to visit my parents. This would be the perfect addition to my trip. A way to keep organized and have a little fun along the way.

Hmmm... where would I go? A road trip up the Oregon/Washington coast line. It is by far one of the most beautiful places to drive... all the little beaches and towns along the way. Great places to sit, reflect and rejuvenate.

Bonnie

I would take it with me to Corvallis for DaVinci Days, where Art, Science, Technology, Film, Photography, and Music reign supreme!!! Love the travel kit, the only addition that I would love is a fan with Anahata's lovely images printed on it!!!!! Crossing my fingers to win :)

I would take it to Washington DC next month while I will be a delegate for Southern Oregon at the National Jobs With Justice Conference. Jobs with Justice has a number of campaigns including the Sweatfree (working to ensure that cities purchase uniforms such as police/fire from factories that treat their workers fairly), Move your money (out of the big banks and into local credit unions to keep money local) as well as a number of other worthwhile projects. I am proud to be involved with them and really excited about the DC trip! I would be so pleased to carry Papaya products along with me!

I am soooo obsessed with all of it... i will be heading to the Northwoods of Hayward Wisconsin. for some fishing and boozing... (which the water bottle would be very handy for)

I'm taking my Dad to his family home of Arkansas for a family reunion over the Labor Day weekend. He's in Oregon and I'm in Alaska, so will be a long trek for me! And while it will be fall here, expect it to be quite warm there. Could use that water bottle! Thanks for doing the give-away!

I think the more appropriate question would be: Where wouldn't I take that!?!?

Ooooh...I'd take it with me on a hike up and down the ravines in our nearby forest preserve and share it with a sweet spirit who makes her own hula-hoops...that illustration is so HER...
