Oh! Would you look at this. Can you hear my heart beating faster? Sarah , oneof our designers, sent me this amazing link today about these Indian Mud Huts shown on Moon to Moon. And ever since I am dreaming about them! With so many booth projects coming up for PAPAYA! and forLEELAH this really has me inspired. Last series of booths we did was based on Berber Tribal Tents, looks like I'm circling similar themes.
But then again maybe I'll scrap my house entirely and adopt a gorgeous painted home alltogether. I can't imagine a more enchanted use of materials. Do you think this is free hand or stencils? (I'm thinking free hand) I've got to do somethings inspired by these. They are too gorgeous to ignore.

A few months ago, Anahata found a great stack of amazing vintage target practice posters. I've been thinking about them, seeing them in our design room, feeling inspired by her painting directly on them...and of course, when we start thinking about things, images tend to pop up and repeat themselves. Visiting Devorah Jacoby's website this morning, these were the first paintings that caught my eye...gorgeous: "Marry Me" (above), "Target 2" and "Target 1" (below).
Below is Ana creating and painting directly onto one of these vintage target practice charts--I love it!
This is a great post and beautiful work in progress....!!! I'm rethinking every vintage poster and chart I see. I love that when an unpredictable image or object sets a new design path. Thanks, Ana!
